Hello readers! I am Aaron Shell, aka AaronRedBaron. Baron’s Hobbies is my pet project. I am a lifelong hobbyist who has gained a diverse knowledge base from flying virtually every type of model aircraft. I worked for Tammies Hobbies, Coyote Hobby and DeeTeeEnterprises before taking the Editor position at RC Heli Magazine from issues 5 through 23. At RC Heli I helped the magazine grow from every other month to monthly, redesigned the review format, and penned over 100 articles.

Since leaving the helicopter magazine, I decided to launch Baron’s Hobbies as an online magazine to bring quality content directly to the readers. Baron’s Hobbies goal is to provide a steady stream of relevant information that hobbyists need. Look here for new product announcements, tips, hobby shop tours, product reviews, pilot interviews, and much more! Although I have an extensive knowledge base in helicopters, Baron’s Hobbies will cover much more than just rotary wings. All aspects of flight will be covered here; watch for news on everything from airships to autogyros.
