Monroe, Washington- There is no question the trade show portion of the event this year seemed to be less active than in years past, but the swap meet continues to grow in popularity. There were lots of deals to be had in the swap meet, the indoor flying was active with 3D foamies, helicopters and other slow flyers, and it was a generally good time. Custom Electronics was celebrating their 25th anniversary of business at the show, they were the first to sell aftermarket servos at a trade show. Eagle Tree Systems was present and sharing their lattest data logging equipment, including their OSD (on screen display) systems. Check back soon for an article on setting these systems up, and we’ll also be bringing you an in depth look at their new Eagle Eyes ground station and OSDpro. The Eagle Eyes ground station will offer diversity cicuitry for the Video signal, four video outputs, pan and tilt control for an antenna tracker (when combined with a OSDpro and GPS on the model), and telemetry from the model’s OSD sensors output on USB for your laptop. It should be exciting!
