Turbo Charged T-Rex 600N

In the quest for power, some people go to great extremes. While many argue the merits of turbo charging a model 2-stroke engine, one hobbyist has boosted his ideas to the next level. Using a home made CNC turbo charger on a T-Rex 600 Nitro, this helicopter shows how far people will go to make something work when they feel the drive. Perhaps the naysayers are right that any boost produced is wasted because the port timing through the crankshaft is closed when the port timing around the piston to the combustion chamber is open, but its still really cool. Who knows, maybe this Finnish pilot has struck on something that could one day lead to turbo chargers becoming a practical reality for hobbyists. Maybe not, but its still incredible!
