Now At Baron’s Hobbies; Expanding and Organizing

If you are a long time reader of this online magazine, hopefully you have noticed some improvements over the past several months. If you are new to the website, recent and coming improvements will help you navigate our wealth of content. With the recent launch of the re-design for this website, I am also gearing up to offer more frequent articles, and establish a calendar of upcoming features. My goal from here on out is to publish a minimum of 4 articles a week, and cover more diverse topics, more in depth. Every month I will try to bring you event coverage, hobby shop tours, reviews, tips, news on new products, and more! This website has been a part time affair for over a year. Now, I am putting a plan in action to make BaronsHobbies.com a well known source for hobby news. Since I was a child I focused my life on learning all I could about the hobby of flying models by radio control, and this website is my outlet to share my experiences with others who want to learn more about this exciting and rewarding hobby.
Some of the topics I am going to cover include;
-A look at the new OS .55 HZ helicopter engine
-A tour of Portland’s largest and best known hobby shop
-A build log of a 40 size nitro plane converted to electric
-Build and fly a scratch built indoor airplane for the Living Room Flyer contest going on at RCGroups (click here to get caught up)
I will be covering all of the above and much more; be sure to check back frequently. I’m also organizing frequent contests and/or giveaways, you don’t want to miss out on the chance to get free stuff! I hope you (my readers) enjoy all my hard work, there is much more to come!
