Build Your Own Simplicious, Makes A Great Night Flyer!

Posted on June 26, 2009 by aaronredbaron

Simplicious at nightProgress is being made on getting the Simplicious kits to production, but in the mean time, Scotty Bouck has generously decided to release the plans for free in an effort to promote his designs. This way, people who prefer to scratch build and have the ability can assemble them and get them flying. Once you see one you’ve gotta have one, at least that’s what we have experienced, so kits should fill that demand. In addition to being a great slow and high speed flying wing with an effective rudder, which in and of itself is hard enough to find, Simplicious can be easily lit for night operations. With its hollow construction, its almost too easy to set up Simplicious as simply the most vivid, visible, and easily distinguishable night flyer around. Lighting up Simplicious is as easy as placing as many LED’s as you see fit on the inside of the hollow structure, facing outward.

Special thanks to Mark Shugert for help with these pictures!
