One of the recent exciting things evolving in the world of RC is the popularity of FPV (first person video) flying, and the products to support it. I have experimented with flying “under the hood” for several years, and recenty added an on-screen display (OSD) system which gives me full instruments based on GPS position. This video is just a taste of what I will be doing with my FPV ideas, but I was excited to have some video to share, so enjoy!

I was not able to get the GPS to lock a home position, so during this flight I had no instruments other than battery and temp data, but I did fly the entire flight watching the video goggles “under the hood”!

Aaron, we met at the large concrete flying site (old Intel building foundation about 4 miles NE of Hillsboro airport) a few weeks ago and you demo’d your FPV system. I’m getting involved with FPV flying and have some questions for you. What is best method for communication? I’m looking at some FPV stuff on DPC.av and not sure if I’m getting the best stuff to get started. My email is ttucker4695@frontier.com
