Float Flying On the Way To The Northwest Model Hobby Expo

One of the best parts about being in this hobby is the friends you make along the way. Most of my close friends are from within the hobby, and I am happy to say I have friends from all over the world who fly models. I am fortunate to be able to visit friends during trips to fun flies, trade shows and competitions. This week my endeavor is to Monroe, Washington for the Northwest Model Hobby Expo. I stayed for a day with our new contributing author here at Baron’s Hobbies, Rob Banner, and did some float flying in his backyard. Rob will be reviewing the Thunder Tiger Ehawk 1500 electric sailplane for his first project, and I am very excited to have him working with us here at Baron’s Hobbies. He is going by Bannerman here on Baron’s Hobbies. Rob has been flying RC for over 20 years, and has had his hands on a wide variety of models from helicopters to large scale gas models and small electrics. Rob flies with the Puget Sound Silent Flyers in Olympia Washington., This glider and electric only club is blessed with one of the most beautiful flying fields around.
Stay tuned for this weekend’s coverage of the Northwest Model Hobby Expo

Cant wait for the up and coming coverage. Rob I look forward to your review on the E-sailplane. I got my first taste of NON powered flight a couple weeks back during our local Santa Ana winds. Not to meniton TT is in my back yard so picking up one should be no problem. That is of course its everything I hope it to be. I would like to see a Discuss launch (DL) review sometime in the future if you can muster one up.
Thanks
